Ingredients:
- 2 lbs chicken wings
- 1/2 cup Sriracha sauce
- 1/4 cup soy sauce
- 1/4 cup honey
- 2 tablespoons rice vinegar
- 2 teaspoons minced garlic
- 1 teaspoon grated ginger
- 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
- Sesame seeds and chopped green onions for garnish
Instructions:
To make the marinade, combine the rice vinegar, honey, black pepper, minced garlic, and grated ginger with the Sriracha sauce
Pour the marinade over the chicken wings in a bowl or a resealable plastic bag
Make sure to coat the wings evenly
Let it marinate for at least an hour, or better yet, all night
Set the smokers temperature to 225F 107C
Take the wings out of the marinade and allow any extra to fall off
Arrange wings on the rack for smoking
After the wings are smoked for two to three hours, or until the internal temperature reaches 165F 74C, flip them over halfway through to ensure even cooking
For added flavor, you can choose to brush on extra Sriracha sauce during the final 30 minutes of smoking the wings
Add chopped green onions and sesame seeds as garnish after smoking
Enjoy your Sweet and Spicy Sriracha Wings after serving
