Ingredients:
- 2 1/4 cups all-purpose flour
- 1/2 teaspoon baking soda
- 1 cup unsalted butter, room temperature
- 1/2 cup granulated sugar
- 1 cup packed light-brown sugar
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 2 teaspoons pure vanilla extract
- 2 large eggs
- 2 cups semisweet and/or milk chocolate chips
Instructions:
Warm the oven up to 175F 350C
Mix the flour and baking soda together in a small bowl
Crack the butter, light brown sugar, granulated sugar, and salt into a large bowl
Mix them together until they are smooth
One at a time, add the eggs and vanilla extract, making sure to mix well after each addition
Slowly add the flour mixture to the wet ingredients and mix them together until they are just barely combined
Add the chocolate chips and mix them in
Drop rounded tablespoons of dough onto baking sheets that have not been greased
Put it in the oven for 10 to 12 minutes, or until the edges turn golden but the middle is still soft
After a few minutes on the baking sheets, move the cookies to wire racks to cool completely
