This Hawaiian Salmon Poke recipe is a refreshing and flavorful dish featuring marinated salmon cubes mixed with a variety of fresh ingredients. Its perfect for a light meal or appetizer.
Ingredients:
- 1 lb fresh salmon fillet, cubed
- 1/4 cup soy sauce
- 1 tbsp sesame oil
- 1 tbsp rice vinegar
- 1 tsp grated fresh ginger
- 1 garlic clove, minced
- 1/4 cup chopped green onions
- 1/4 cup diced red onion
- 1/4 cup diced cucumber
- 1/4 cup diced avocado
- 1 tbsp sesame seeds
- 2 tbsp chopped fresh cilantro
- Cooked sushi rice, for serving
Instructions:
Put soy sauce, sesame oil, rice vinegar, ginger, and garlic in a bowl and mix them together
Toss the cubed salmon around in the bowl to coat it
Put the mixture in the fridge for at least 30 minutes to marinate
Put green onions, red onions, cucumber, avocado, sesame seeds, and cilantro on top of the marinated salmon right before you serve it
Carefully toss to mix
Put the cooked sushi rice on top of the salmon poke
